New Notification tab
I am not able to view new notifications for likes, comments or followers. When I click on it…all I get is time spin???
Please help, thank you.

To me it sounds like you have either a browser related issue or a connectivity issue. Please work through all that follows so we can resolve this.
1. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.
2. If you are using an IE browser in compatibility mode please disable that mode. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html
3. If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/
(a) Try clearing your browser’s cache http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
If applicable see here for instructions on how to clear the cache for Chrome and Safari on the iPad:
(c) Disable all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily.
(d) Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
Add both *.wordpress.com and *.wp.com to your list of trusted sites under the Security tab. Make sure to uncheck the box for “Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone.” http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/#frequently-asked-questions
4. Try using another browser.
5. If you are not successful let us know:
(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
(b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/
(c) And what any error reports you receive state.
Thank you. I have done the troubleshooting on my computer and browser, prior to my requests.
If there is nothing you can reset or suggest, then I am at a loss for by blog. How unfortunate.
No one can help you without knowing your exact computing environment details. Once we have then then we can use an identical set up to create the issues and resolve them.

My husband went through your checklist. To answer your questions in a open forum he feels is not appropriate, I tend to agree. I understand and appreciate your position. My question to you is, what would make one of your links no=follow or only open in another tab? Other than trying to troubleshoot on my computer settings [no differences], is there another option?
Answering my questions is most certainly appropriate and if you want help to determine the cause of your issues that’s how you will get it. ie. by clearly stating what your computing environment details are. Without providing that information your issue will not be resolved. I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance.
