New pages send users to sign up for word press page

  1. My "About the author" page takes users (logged in and not) straight to the sign up fora word press blog.

....Clearly that's undesirable as I'd like my users to see the page I intended.

Could I have some assistance please? I tried deleting the default "About" page and creating a new one but it went straight to the "Sign up" page anyway?

  2. Sorry for the trouble!

We identified and corrected the issue. The affected blogs are each being fixed individually.

If yours has not been fixed yet, it should be in a few hours.

  3. Hi there! The issue is unfortunately still not resolved :( Not sure what time period you were looking at for this to be rectified in terms of "a few hours" but it's been about 7.

Any assistance would be huuuugely appreciated as I also can't seem to edit posts from my computer (iPhone oddly works okay though).

    :) Thanks!

  4. There's a wide-spread issue evidenced by the multiple active threads on the front page of this forum and beyond reporting the same issue for over 24 hours. All have been flagged for Staff attention and they have responded. There are no updates.

  5. Glad to see this forum. I have been going crazy all day trying to get my pages to post and they just go straight to (maybe sign up page).
Should I just continue to wait for this to be corrected?

  6. Hi Timethief. I was responding to the WordPress Engineer who said "Should be resolved in a few hours" about 7 hours ago.

Was just letting him know that nothing had changed as yet. :)

Kbouman- I know right? And yes, continue to wait- they're definitely aware of and are working towards fixing the problem. :)

  7. The script running to fix all of the affected blogs failed about half-way through.

We are already aware of all affected blogs, so if yours has not been fixed yet, it will be in a few hours.

  8. This is now fixed. You guys are legendary.

  9. You're welcome!
