New post -> jetpack_error

  1. I've seen a few posts here describing the problem I experience, namely: when using the "New Post" functionality on a hosted site, I get a nondescript "jetpack_error" and nothing happens.

    None of the existing support calls are any help, because they redirect to the Jetpack support forum, but when I ask the question there, they refer me back here because I have a hosted site.

    Can someone here please help out?

    It appears our Jetpack team has cleared up things on their end that they believe will resolve this issue for you. Please let me know if you continue to run into the same problems as before.

    Is there any way a user can do this themselves? When I tried to find an answer to this issue I saw one or two posts that looked to be experiencing the same issue, but they never got so far as getting an answer.

  7. It looks like there were some crossed wires with your Jetpack connection and domain names that our Jetpack folks were able to untangle and sort out for you.
