New support contact process…
Reporting to support in the usual way, I received a confirmation mail from Automatix Inc saying that I am now registered, giving me a new specific password and a link http://kb4.automattic.com…
What a change…. again.
Why should every process become more complicated than it was ?
Why should we remember a new password to report to support ?
The blog I need help with is earlflosse.wordpress.com.
Ummm, I just tried the normal support link, http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ while logged into my wordpress account, and had no issues.
What support page are you talking about?
I also tried the contact form over at automattic.com, http://automattic.com/contact/ , and it works the same as it always did.
http://kb4.automattic.com leads to some sort of thing that seems to be in development. Not sure what it is all about.
Be sure that I used the contact link as usual http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/… and one hour later I received this Automatic Inc’s mail saying :

It could be that they are implementing a new way to contact support rather than the contact form that is used now. There was a “submit ticket” thing on that site.
I did not have a reason to contact support, so I did not follow through with the contact form (they are busy enough right now with the Live Spaces imports).
We’ll just have to wait and see. It would seem strange to require us all to use a different name and password from the one we use with our accounts.
