    Hi there,

I’m trying to change the theme of my blog page because blog posts aren’t currently readable using my general theme for other pages and more store.

How do I change the theme of the blog page then customize it, looking at a given post, and then applying to every post view?

When I “activate” any themes, it changes for the site globally so I can’t use more than one theme at once.

Thank you for helping. I cannot share my site because it is under construction and not ready to publish.

    Hi Brenden.

Themes are applied globally to sites, so there really isn’t a way to apply a specific theme to only a portion of your posts/pages. We could possibly look at addressing why the blog posts aren’t readable and go from there to find a solution, but it is difficult to provide direction without knowing the site address and where it is hosted.

I do want to point out that this particular forum is focused on providing support to sites hosted here at WordPress.com. If you are creating your site using the software from WordPress.org and hosting it on another provider you can find help on the WordPress.org support forums which are focused on the ins and outs of self-hosted installs.

If you aren’t sure of the difference between the two, you can check out the Com Vs. Org support page for more in-depth information.
