No html markup working in posts.

    Yes, I searched the forum and the net. Couldn’t find an answer to my very weird problem.

    First noticed the problem with links not showing up in posts. When I edit posts or am writing a new one and go to the “source” tab (right name?) – I see the markup. Posts are rendered as though no html was present.

    Viewing “page source” shows no markup either.

    As one example – Coastal Inlet Adventures – renders as plain text. No link. No bold.

    Even tried using the custom css box on individual posts. Nothing.

    This is across multiple posts. Brand new to blogging, so don’t have many yet. Still trying to get it work and look right. Have very minimal custom css. Certainly none that says

    .post (
    text-style:no markup;
    }

    Am using the bootstrap-ultimate template, but had exactly the same issue with Valinja.

    Would really, really appreciate some help here.

    In the posts on the front page the “Like to Hunt” post should have a bold link at “Coastal Inlet Adventures”

    The “Top Ten…” post “Outdoor Hub” should be a link.

    Thanks,

    Bruce

    The blog I need help with is www.guncontroltraining.com.

    This is the WordPress.COM support forum. Neither one of those sites is hosted here by WordPress.COM. You are posting to the wrong support forum. You need to post to the WordPress.ORG support forum for help with your site because it is not hosted by WordPress.COM.

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

    Noticed a couple things in my post here. First noticed that <strong><a href="http://canadianhuntingbc.com/index.htm">Coastal Inlet Adventures</a></strong> rendered as an actual link since I didn’t do the backtick thing.

    Also you’ll find the blog at http://www.guncontroltrainng.com/blog or I just remembered I did add a Blog link on my navigation.

    Never mind!

    Okay but if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

    I didn’t mean never mind on my problem! I meant never mind my stupid, and unnecessary followup post.

    I always assume I need to be as clear as possible as when asking for help. Ended up over explaining.

    Thanks for the tip.

    Still need help.

    You cannot get help here for this site http://www.guncontroltraining.com/ because it is NOT hosted here. To get help for that site toy need to post to http://wordpress.org/support/

    If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
