en WordPress.com Forums › Themes No "Install Theme" TAB Author Posts March 17, 2011 at 4:48 am #584735 tamstancreativeMember I just downloaded a couple of premium themes and the instructions say I should go to “appearrance” then “theme,” then “Install theme” tab. Well, I don’t see this tab. What am I missing? The blog I need help with is tamstancreative.wordpress.com. March 17, 2011 at 5:02 am #584865 macmanxStaff I’m sorry, but themes can’t be uploaded to WordPress.com. That’s a feature of self-hosted blogs through WordPress.org. http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/ You may use any of the available themes we have under Appearance > Themes in your dashboard. If you are CSS-savvy, you may want to look into purchasing the Custom CSS Upgrade to customize one of the themes we offer: http://support.wordpress.com/custom-css/ March 17, 2011 at 5:06 am #584866 tamstancreativeMember Dang! I really liked the theme. And I’m a total novice with no code experience, so I’m not sure this will work for me. Do you know how I go about getting a refund for the themes I just got? March 17, 2011 at 5:07 am #584867 macmanxStaff You should probably contact the vendor that you purchased the theme from. March 28, 2011 at 11:46 am #585337 airodysseyMember @mayhemonte: You are looking at a WordPress.ORG screenshot. Not the same thing as WordPress.COM: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ March 28, 2011 at 12:11 pm #585338 auxclassMember You have never had the ability to install Themes at WordPress.COM.
