Non-numeric Page IDs for Pages Widget?
I’ve searched every way I can think of and can’t find an answer to this so I’m hoping someone here can help. A while back, I set my site so the pages don’t have numeric Page IDs but instead have words. For example:
I’d like to exclude the sub-pages I create under the parent pages so they don’t show up in navigation along the top or side of the page. I was using the Pages widget to exclude the pages by the numeric Page ID but since I changed over the setting on the pages, I have no clue how to exclude these pages.
The blog I need help with is jimpi4879.wordpress.com.
The WordPress.com blog linked to your WordPress.com username is empty. Please post an active link starting with http:// to the blog in question.
Sorry, didn’t realize I had to post an actual link.
The blog linked to your name is empty and your account is only 11 minutes old. We need a link to the blog you are asking about to give you accurate help.
auxclass, the blog linked to my name isn’t the one in question. I had to create a blog for the user name so I could post my question. If this is something I’ve done wrong, I apologize.
I’m sorry but that site is not a free blog from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM so we cannot help you with it. WordPress.COM blogs and wordpress.org installs operate on different code. The correct support forum to get support for that blog is here > http://wordpress.ORG/support
My apologies, wasn’t paying close enough attention to where I was posting.
No Problem and best wishes with your WordPress.ORG install. :)
