Non-responsive Menu

  1. Hi All,

    Hoping someone can help me with my non-responsive menu, especially the search bar. Not sure if it's the CSS changes that i have made, or what, but it doesn't work so smoothly. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thank you,

    The blog I need help with is

  2. in fact i don't know why i said especially the search bar, please ignore!

  3. Hi there, relocating a widget to the nav bar area on responsive width themes can be challenging. At around 760px, the search widget begins to hide the far right menu item. Here is something to try. I changed searchform in your 600px media query to #search-5 (the entire search widget) so that the sidebar widgets aligns with your content better. I also added a new media query at 760px which limits the width of the menu itself and forces the menu to two lines and adjusts the height of the menu area. Give it a try and see what you think. You can copy out, or comment out your existing CSS and paste what I have below.

    To comment out things in CSS, put
    at the beginning and
    */ at the end of the existing CSS.

  4. Sorry, do you mean you've made some changes in my CSS? If so - thank you, but where do i find them?

  5. Hi there, and very sorry about that. I seemed to have forgotten to paste in the code, but I see you have make some adjustment to the Cookies menu label, which changes things a little. Change the Media query you have not to this and see what you think.

    @media screen and (min-width: 600px){
    	#main {
    	#search-10 {
    	#searchsubmit {
    	.widget-area img {
        .main-navigation ul {
            width: 52%;

    This limits the width of the menu to 52% so that it does not go under the search box.
