Nothing Found instead of post
I’ve published my 4th post as a sticky with a featured image on iTheme2. The image shows up on the carousel & the post can be accessed from there, but I get the “Nothing Found” instead of the post on the main (home) page.
This happened with the 1st post, but had been resolved with the 2nd & 3rd posts, but now it’s happening again. I didn’t do anything different. Please help!
The blog I need help with is calvaryheritagewindows.wordpress.com.
It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help.
By default the front page of your blog displays all posts. The 404 (page not found) error message on the front page of the blog appeared because the Admin of the blog deleted the placeholder Hello World post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/not-found/ As soon as you publish a post, not a page it will disappear. Read the differences between Pages and Posts.
On the bottom of your Admin page you will find a link to the step by step Learn WordPress.com blogging Tutorial prepared by Staff. http://learn.wordpress.com/
The support documentation is all found at the Support link http://en.support.wordpress.com which is also on the bottom of your Admin page.
Are you making every post in the blog a featured post?
iTheme2 also has lets you feature up to 30 posts in it’s featured post section on the home page.
As I said, this is my 4th post. In fact, this is my 2nd WordPress blog, so I’m familiar with how posts work.
To answer your 2nd question, I did make every post sticky/featured. However, on reading other answers I just edited my 1st post to make it not sticky & it is now showing up in the space below. I’d like the most recent post do that, however!
How many posts have you set to display on the front page here?
