I run a website about my football team, Bradford City – widthofapost.com
On Friday, it is the 27th anniversary of the Valley Parade fire disaster. To mark it, on the day I was hoping I could sort it so that when users click on my site some sort of home page cover image appears over it, with a photo of the memorial and a tiny bit of text, with the link to close the ‘cover’ and access the site normally after.
Is there a way of doing this on a wordpress.com site?
Is this the blog in question? http://widthofapost.com/
Here’s how to link your username to your blog in your blog Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Primary Blog‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes.
