Options for Displaying PDFs of Articles?

Hello there. I’m relatively new. I’m a writer and I need to display .PDFs of my articles on my site. However, I want the .PDF or at least a preview to display in the post itself, and then open up in a window within the same page (I’ve seen this on a ton of sites – you click on the image preview, then scroll through the PDF without a new window opening).

Is this possible on WordPress.com? Would I need a special widget to get such a reader embedded in my page? And if not, is there at least a way I can preview the .PDF in the blog post itself, rather than just having it as a text link?

I appreciate any direction or help you can give me.

The blog I need help with is noranahidkhan.com.

These are your options on a free hosted WordPress.com blog.

The following processes are outlined particularly for users who wish to upload a document and add its download link to a blog post or page. http://en.support.wordpress.com/uploading-documents/

If you want to embed the document itself, you will have to use a third party application like Scribd or Google Docs. Otherwise, the documents will appear as a download link.
