order of blog entries
Blogs are essentially a reverse chronological order publishing tool and you cannot change this order on a free hosted WordPress.com blog. Posts will be posted to your blog in accord with their date stamps at publication. WordPress by default shows posts in reverse chronological order (newest post on top). For returning visitors, this is very convenient since they can see the latest post without having to page down through page after page of hundreds of posts they have already read.
If you wish you can set an introductory sticky post to display at the top of the front page ie. the main page for posts.
Also see here for the option of creating a book-like structure > http://en.support.wordpress.com/write-a-book/ Perhaps that will work for you.
If you blog is not displaying posts in reverse chronological order then you can check three things:
1. Make sure you have not set a lot of posts as sticky posts and if you have remove the sticky designation.
2. Make sure your timezone setting > Settings General is correct
3. If that does not resolve the issue this may resolve it http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2012/05/19/sidebar-at-the-bottom-and-related-issues/
How do you mean jumbled out of order ? Not in chronological order?
Have you read this thread and the tips included?
Why click through to read in another thread what I already posted above?
I will try those suggest
ions and let you know how it goes….thank you!
