Oulipo sidebar populating with blog info
I need help figuring out what has changed/what needs to be changed to make my blog display properly once again. Using the Oulipo Theme on the blog: http://blog.blendimages.com. It had a simple custom menu on the left side bar, content in the middle and widget sidebar on the right side. Just today (10/30) it is displaying some overflow content in the left side bar.
I would love some suggestions on how to fix this. Thanks in advance!
The blog I need help with is blog.blendimages.com.
Why did you use the large size image in the sidebar, why not use “width =” and “height =” in the img html to shrink images without truncated, this is to maximize the sidebar is small and the picture could look full.
There aren’t supposed to be any images in the side bar. This is the issue I am trying to fix. The only items in the left sidebar should be menu items. No pictures or blog content.
Sorry, maybe my question is not related to the theme you are using and your problem…. sorry
There is usually an html code that has not been there in the end, it may be deleted, such as/div or/table or/etc. Subjected to a new post or a post was last modified.
Ah thank you. This gave me a great place to start. Found the post that was causing the issue. Thanks again!
I’m posting this for the benefit of those who use the searchbox in the future.
Sidebars do not fall to the bottom and display below posts and/or posts do not appear in sidebars unless
(1) content has been imported into the blog,
(2) the blogger has been copying and pasting content from elsewhere, without using either icon 5 or icon 6 in Row 2 of the visual editor http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#pasting-text
(3) or the blogger has copied and pasted invalid HTML into a text widget or left an HTML tag open
