Over-writing Media Easily?

Alright, new here. Searched the forums and support thoroughly and didn’t see anything like what I’m looking for.

I have a couple of PDF files that are permanently linked from a page. Is there an easy way to over-write the existing files when I upload the updated version? As of right now I have to upload the new ones, delete the old ones, and then fix three links every time I want to update these things.

No because the uploaded files have a url with the date in so you could only replace immediately. So you do need to re-upload, sorry.

There are a couple of work arounds that might make things easier but we need the blog URL you are referring to beginning with http to know if they are the correct ones for you.
