    Hello

    I’m using the twenty eleven theme and currently have my own image/logo as the header – see http://www.foodiesagenda.com Instead I would love to have the foodiesagenda logo as my text header and then upload an image to run across the header…like this site http://piteiraphotography.com/
    I’m really struggling to find out a way to do this without writing codes etc…which I have no idea how to do!

    Really appreciate your words of advice

    The designer for that site actually posted right here in this forum to figure that out!

Do i need to buy the Custom Design? Please, i´ve been trying for weeks to get my blog look amazing … :( :( really appreciate it your help! :D

    Have you looked through the forum? All of these questions have been answered many times already. Put one thing at a time into the Search box, eg “Social Links” or “Featured Pages”.

    Yes, i did, but i still dont know how to do it, i cant find anywhere how to organize my social icons into a straight line in the Footer area three like: http://piteiraphotography.com/.

    Hello design simply,

    So far so good! I really do appreciate your help. The design is really coming along well. I now have a static front page and have set up a blog page to show all my posts as I had it before. I’m still stuck on changing my Title to a logo (basically Id love to use my foodiesagenda black & yellow text logo & then have a big image as the header). I’ve just bought the CSS upgrade and attempted to add your code that you gave KerryMurray aka Pitieraphotography & just removed their url & replaced it with mine for the particular foodies agenda image/logo I’d like to use but with no success. Am really fumbling around in the CSS section now. any further advice would be HUGELY appreciated

    Thanks

    Ok, after more fumbling, I’ve manager to upload my logo as the Header Text, however I don’t know how to move my logo more to the left & make it central? As always your tips are really appreciated

    Thanks

    Me again. I still haven’t fixed the above issue but am also slightly worried that I’ve changed something that I wasn’t meant to as when I look at my site via mobile, it’s all out of whack. Is this related or unrelated?

    Thanks

    Hello Designsimply,

    I’m sorry to bug you. Is there any chance you can help me out with the above? I’ve ‘hid’ my header text for now as I couldn’t stand seeing it off center. Instead I’m currently using my ‘logo’ as my header image. I believe you can see my pics in my image library? I’m hoping to use the foodies agenda logo as the header text, and the strip of photos as my header image. Ideally I’ve love to have the foodies agenda either smack bang in the centre or to the top left of the blog. Your advice would be much appreciated.

    Thanking you in advance

    I just checked http://foodiesagenda.com/ with my iPhone and here is what I see: http://cl.ly/PfjD

    It appears you found the right settings to use the built in mobile theme, and it looks great.

    Yes! Apologies for not seeing your request sooner. Can you please put the header text back so I can take a look at it directly. It would be the most helpful way to present the issue for review, and I will keep an eye out for replies here so I can respond quickly.

    http://piteiraphotography.com/ uses the showcase page template in Twenty Eleven. I checked http://lovedesignhechoamanoconamor.com/ and it appears you were able to get that part figured out. Nice work!

    also in the Recent Posts section leave only the first image and the link to continue reading.

    I think the showcase page template covers that, and it looks like you’re all set.

    I would also like to know how to make that links to twitter, facebook and pinterest look in a straight line and not look messy as I have them.

    The other blog used custom HTML in a text widget to add the social media images in the sidebar on the left on the showcase page.

    I see you’re currently using the Links widget right now, and it looks great! If you wanted to get rid of the bullets beside each link on the left, add this to your Appearance → Themes → Customize → CSS panel:

    .blogroll {
    	list-style-type: none;
    }
