I’m using Oxygen as my theme. Spectrumofhopeproject.org is my wordpress. Is there any way i can manipulate what crop of the image is showcasing on my beautiful (yet frustratingly semi-functional) front page or where the text box cuts into my picture?
No. When an image has a different aspect ratio than the fixed-size frame for featured images, the theme crops the top and the bottom of the image and displays the middle section. If you don’t like that, the only thing you can do is prepare special versions of your images in an image editing application, and set these versions as your featured images.
