Oxygen: More than 3 "recent articles" possible?
Hope someone can help me with this question!
I love the Oxygen theme, and especially the slider which works great. The only thing is that beneath the slider, only three “recent articles” (that are not sticky) are displayed with the featured image shown. All older posts appear with only their title under “More articles”.
My question: Is there a way to increase the number of “recent articles”? I would prefer this, cause a “recent article” is shown with the featured image, while one that appear in “more articles” is not.
Thanks a lot for any help!
The blog I need help with is keihardboeken.wordpress.com.
Anybody out there who knows this?
You would really make my day!
How many posts have you set to display here?
Settings > Reading
Blog pages show at most __ posts
Note: In Oxygen, there is no way to show posts in both the slider and the recent articles area. It’s been designed to not to have duplicated posts on the page.
That doesn’t work. I already set it at 20 posts.
If you would have read my question carefully, you would have seen that I am not talking about sticky posts here that appear in the slider. I’m talking about the ones below: 3 recent ones, and the rest goes directly to “more”.
So again, do you know how I can increase that number?
I have apparantly set just about enough post to display here for someone to intend to help me, to answer your question. Unfortunately the answer has not been found yet… so I’ll keep on asking people untill I find it.
But thanks anyway for the reply :)
If you have any other ideas, I would be grateful to hear from you!
I have flagged this thread for Theme Staff attention. Please be patient while waiting.
Any idea on when I could expect to hear from them? Don’t want to be impatient, but just to have some idea.
We Volunteers have no idea when Staff will appear.
Hi there! To answer your question, there is currently no option to display more than three “Recent Articles” on the Showcase Page template.
