Oxygen theme: Remove All Widgets?

    Hi all,

The thing I want to do is have a homepage that uses the “Showcase Page” template (which I’ve gotten working). AND that uses the Full-Width of the page. Here’s my site:

That is, I want to abolish all widgets from all of my pages. I’ve gotten rid of widgets on other pages by using the “Full Width” template. How can I get rid of them on the page which uses the Showcase Page template?

Do I need to buy CSS support? Do I need to download and tinker with a child theme?

I’m willing to do just about anything — just not sure which direction to go. Thanks.

The blog I need help with is fifteenminutecoach.com.

If you place an empty widget at the top of a sidebar area > click to open, add not title or text, click “save” click “close” then there will be nothing displaying in the sidebar. That doesn’t mean you can appropriate the space and use it for your posts though. You can’t change any theme elements without purchasing an annually renewable custom design upgrade and doing the CSS editing required.

Thanks SO MUCH. This is precisely the info I was looking for. In fact the space is what I want to reclaim and now I know the path to get it.

Many, many thanks. God bless you!
