Oxygen Theme's Responsiveness conquered by a mobile version

  • I recently started a blog and chose the Oxygen theme because it supported the look I needed for my topic plus it was built based on responsive web design for mobile devices. But when I go to my blog on my phone, I’m met with a weird version not described in the development of this theme. It looks like a separate mobile version of my blog all together and what’s worst is that my content doesn’t show up on the home page.

at the bottom of the mobile version of my site I can select view full site, and when I do I finally get the responsive version I’ve been waiting to see perfectly fitting. Everything works fine on tablet sized devices, just my mobile phone in particular. I have a simple iOS 3GS iphone I used to test.

Is there away to turn off this mobile version so I can always see my full site on mobile devices?
or is this a safety net made by wordpress to make sure all content is seen well when mobile?
Do I need to make my domain a unique domain to fix this?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
