Page draft disapeared

  1. Hi,

Yesterday I made a draft of a page I planned to publish in a few days and saved it using the "save draft" button. Today, the said page is unexistent...
I had to clean my cache this morning, could that have an influence over it? Is there a way to recover it or do I need to rewrite everything?

The blog I need help with is

  2. You may be able to recover an earlier Post Revision. Go to Posts > All Posts, hover over the title of the post, click Edit and check the Post Revisions module for previous saved versions of the post. If you're not seeing the Revisions module while on the editor screen, click Screen Options (top right corner of your Admin page) to activate it. Then select the post and page modules to include them.

  3. Yes, I know about the post revision but what I mean is that even though I edited that draft several time yesterday, today it's totally gone.
It's not even in the list of all the pages.

    Ps: it's a page, not a post

  4. Doh ... I'm sorry re: the page revision not post revision bit. As I don't know how to help you I'm flagging this thread for Staff attention. Hang in there. :)

  5. Well, I pretty much consider that page lost so it's not too bad. I just wanted to know if there was a solution or a manipulation deleting the draft to avoid

  6. This has been happening for some time now and Staff are aware of the issue. All we Volunteers were able to come up with is to create a post and make it private after typing in the title. Then complete the private post and change the setting to public when you are ready to publish it.

Are you running AdBlock? See here >

  7. I am indeed runing adblock but it's deactived for or similar
And yeah, I though about the private publishing too for the remake of the page

  8. I checked the thread you linked about adblock's trouble on the editor and even when wordpress wasn't on the whitelist I never had that issue
