I had no difficulty at all using the sharing buttons. I use Firefox 9.0.1 and I just shared your About page on Twitter without any problem at all. When these issues arise they are most frequently due to browser issues. ie. people aren’t savvy enough to set their browsers up so the cache and cookies are automatically cleared when they log off the internet. And/or they don’t know that when they experience such difficulties they need to clear their browser cache and cookies and make sure they upgrade their browser versions.

I have no idea what’s up with that and as we lack any actual deatils. I’m sorry I can’t provide any further advice other than if your friend’s have security warnings they need to whitelist your site in their security programs. If they are using IE browsers then see here please > http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/#how-do-i-get-those-annoying-security-warnings-to-go-away

    Yes.

    HOWEVER:

automatically shared content is automatically deprecated so that nobody other than you ever sees it. It never shows up in anyone else’s news feed.

As I said to a paying client: what’s the value of a FB post no-one ever sees?
