Pages in Oulipo disappeared!
Was tinkering around with the settings (which I should NEVER do) and somehow the pages on the left hand side of the blog aren’t there anymore. What is there now, for some reason, are the titles of my categories (click on them and they will go nowhere,) which used to be listed on the right-hand side as a widget. Help! How do I get the pages to appear again on the left?
Thank you so much in advance,
The blog I need help with is worthingtonpost.wordpress.com.
Is this where you were “tinkering”? > Appearance > Widgets
that’s one of the places…
Your Pages are still in the blog example > http://worthingtonpost.wordpress.com/about/ you simply removed access to them. Put the Pages widget http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/pages-widget/ back in the sidebar or if you created a custom menu then put the Custom Menu widget http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/custom-menu-widget/ back in your sidebar.
The pages (About Aliza, Catonsville Patch Posts, etc.) were actually on the left hand side under “The Worthington Post,” which actually stays in place when someone scrolls down to read other parts of the blog. Where “Life/Liberty/Happiness” is now. Is the way to get the pages back there to create a custom menu?
I fixed it! I had added a menu (didn’t realize that is what I had done) of the categories, and I guess it overtook the original pages on the left. I deleted that menu, and the original pages re-appeared.
Thanks for getting me on the right track! :-)
You’re welcome. :)
