Password Issues

    I created a new blog (, but accidentally entered a wrong email. Now, the password has been changed and I’m unable to access the account. Obviously I cannot use forgot password because I don’t own the email ID.

    I tried filling out the issues form, but it refuses to accept my credit card transaction ID as proof (it insists on Paypal, and I did not use Paypal for the payment). There are no draft posts, and since I never received the Welcome email I don’t have the API key. I’m worried because someone now has access to my personal information (name, phone no and credit card information).

    Could you please get this domain cancelled, and the account revoked. I am using my other wordpress account to post this problem because I don’t have access to the one I’m complaining about.

    We use Paypal as our payment processor, so no matter what you will have a Paypal transaction ID. It is emailed to you, but since you don’t have that you’ll need to retrieve it in another way. You can contact Paypal directly here:

    1-888-221-1161 (if calling from inside the U.S. or Canada)
    1-402-935-2050 (if calling from outside the U.S. or Canada)

    And provide the date and the credit card which was used, and they should be able to provide the Transaction ID. Once you have that, you’ll need to fill out the form on the Lost Password page. Please DO NOT provide the transaction ID here, as this is a public forum!
