Password protected pages not recognizing correct password

I’ve got password protected pages on my blog. I and at least one of my readers have found that on rare occations, typing in the correst password has not been working to open up the pages. I have tried writng the password in word and copy/pasteing it into the field and I rechecked that I was not misremembering the password by looking at the page in the editor, so I know that I am inputting the correct password. I also tried closeing the browser, clearing cookies and retrying. I still can’t get in.

Is there something else I should be trying?

    Thanks in advance,

    Virginia Diaz

Password protected pages should be working. I just tested one on my blog and it worked properly. Are you absolutely sure you’re entering the right password? Could you have had the caps lock key on when you tried entering it before?

The page I’ve been trying to access is

Naokomc, I did double check that I was typing it correctly by typing it in word (where I could see all the letters) and pasting it into the field, so unfortunately, it’s not just the caps lock.

Designsimply, it only happens sporatically. Most of the time it works fine, but just now when I tried again, it is not working. (7:57 am Eastern, March 21st if the time might help?)

I’m not sure because it’s working properly in all the tests that I try. If you’re willing to share the password and you’d like us to test the page you’re having trouble with directly, contact support like Naoko suggested and let us know the page URL and the password and we’d be happy to test it for you.
