Pasting Code Doesn’t Work Today!
Hi again WordPress admin – I’m having a real problem trying to insert a widget onto my site. Yesterday I successfully put a Facebook badge onto my site but today I’m trying to add html text as a widget and it’s not working.
Here’s what I’m doing, just so you know that I know how to do it and it’s not one of my steps: I’ve gone to the “Get widget” part of Live365 (because I’m adding my radio station’s widget to my wordpress site) and copied the whole of the html code. I’ve then added a the text widget to my sidebar on wordpress and inserted the code. The problem occurs when I save it – the code disappears, and I’m left with no widget!
I have blogs on Blogger too and the same widget works perfectly on that platform. Please sort this problem out because it’s a little annoying!
The blog I need help with is scarletsculturegarden.wordpress.com.
Could you please paste the code here in the forum between back ticks the key board key that sites left of the #1 key so we can take a look at for you so we can try to solve the problem for you.
Also please read about allowed HTML codes » http://wp.me/PEmnE-12
I hope that’s what you wanted me to do I wasn’t entirely sure if it was the right thing to do or not so I just pasted it in there with some little apostrophes around it!
Sorry the code will not work here @WP.com because it uses Java Script plus Flash which is not allowed here for security reasons.
Oh dear that’s a shame. Thanks for your help anyway!
