Pause comment form action?

    Hi all, is there a way to pause the comment form action?

    I am trying to run a javascript once user click on the submit comment button. The comment submission action keep refreshing the page and the javascript can’t run fully.

    Any help or guidance will be highly appreciated! : )

    Javascript cannot be used here so the comment process – or indeed any process – cannot be interrupted by it.

    The site linked to your name is the blank default Twenty-Ten theme, so I’m guessing that you are asking about a self-hosted installation.

    You may not realize it, but there are two very different and separate kinds of WordPress.
wp.COM is a multi-user platform with free hosting
wp.ORG is software for self-hosted blogs
