Forgive my ignorance, I’m not good with tech stuff. How do I set up my paypal subscription through wordpress? I finally got the button up, and takes you to paypal link to sign in when you click, but then when clients are trying to set up the payments, won’t let them go through.

The blog I need help with is aliveprograms.wordpress.com.

It says “The link you have used to enter the PayPal system is invalid. Please review the link and try again.”

WordPress.com blog cannot be equipped for ecommerce transactions. We can only use the unencrypted PayPal donation button on our blogs here.

If you require e-commerce/shopping cart functionality, there are no restrictions on e-commerce if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a free hosted WordPress.com blog.
See here to learn the differences:

In a nutshell no blogger initiated advertising, retailing or reselling the work created or services provided by anyone other than yourself is allowed on free hosted wordpress.COM blogs. E-commerce transactions via shopping carts and the like cannot be conducted on free blogs from and being free hosted by WordPress.COM. I suggest you also read these entries:
