Paypal! Help!

  1. Yeah what do you mean as long as you have a balance in your paypal account? But thanks Mac!

  2. Because this is what i did:

    1: Logged into word press
2: Went to store on wordpress
    3: Click custom Design
    4:Click/Mark Paypal Express
    5: Never took me anywhere.

  3. I am having the very same problem. I went to Store, asked to add domain name, applied my discount, was told the amount I owed, and then I was asked how I wanted to pay. I selected PayPal. Then . . . nothing. I was not linked to PayPal. There is nothing like "Continue" or "Submit" on the page.

  4. Can you folks please try clearing your browser's cookies and cache?

  5. I solved the problem. I used a credit card instead of PayPal. Worked like a charm; domain mapped.

  6. Yeah i can't use a credit card! My mom won't let me! and i tryed never worked

  7. I cleared my cookies and cache... Still never worked. Would it work if i make another account!?

  8. PS: another question is where is the plugins on wordpress?

  9. NVM! I just need a self hosting site .. Anyhow i still need to get the custom deisgn

I also cannot pay for my domain with paypal. And the fact that I cannot reach support for an entire week makes me rethink using WordPress. Not impressed so far!

  11. Yeup thats what i thought i emailed them 2 weeks ago adnt hey never emailed me back. Lots of people are re thinking on wordpress

  12. I want to also pay for a domain with paypal but it's not working!

  13. themoderncavewoman

It just worked for me. Difference between IE8 and Chrome?

  14. Wha did u do!? i need to buy a domain!! How you do it?!!?

  15. hdsugarshack, what browser (and version of) are you trying to use?

Also, is your PayPal account in good standing (no blocks, etc)?

  16. i use google and yeah no blocks or anything

  17. You mean Google Chrome? And what version (macmanx asked that too).

  18. Yes, What do you mean version?

  19. Every browser has different updates. We need to know which version you're using so we can figure out whether the updates are interfering.

If you have decided to go for self-hosting, you don't need ANY upgrades, but it's a lot more technical.

  20. themoderncavewoman

When I used Google Chrome, the PayPal stuff came up. It did not with IE8.

Also, hdsugarshack is not having trouble adding a paypal button to her already existing site. We had trouble paying for the domain name and hosting with paypal versus with a credit card.

  22. Well its Windows 11 is that the version?

  23. @hdsugarshack
No. Click this link and the site will automatically display the information we need. Copy and paste what's in the box there into a comment box here please.

  24. I set up a donate button on my blog. Everything is done and mostly working. When you press the button, the link takes you to a "broken link" I am not sure what to do from here.

  25. @timethief: THanks Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0; GTB6; FunWebProducts; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; Media Center PC 5.0; OfficeLiveConnector.1.3; OfficeLivePatch.0.0; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30618; .NET4.0C; AskTbCLM/

  26. im using Internet Explorer 7.0 BTW.

  27. @fibrobulletin: Your problem is different: you're asking about adding a "Donate" button on your blog, and the original poster is asking about paying via PayPal.

For the sake of organization, please start a separate topic and we'll take it from there:

  28. Yes okay so timethief is that what u were looking for??

  30. Noone is helping!
