People piggy backing on my site
After I post people who speak foreign languages post on my site and it appears on top of my post so when people come to view my site they see a foreign language and think it is spam. How do I stop these people from piggy backing on my site?
The blog I need help with is www.neydoll.com.
That’s NOT a free blog from WordPress.COM that’s being free hosted by WordPress.com. You are posting to the wrong support forum. We cannot help you here with that site as it’s not a free hosted WordPress.com blog. Support for WordPress.org software and any advice you need are provided on the WordPress.org support forums and they are here http://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.org, click that link and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.org bloggers.
Thanks. Is there a phone number I can call to talk to someone about this?
Not at WordPress.com. You need to contact your web host, and look in the WordPress.org forums for assistance.
@neydoll, do you have the jetpack plugin installed on your site? If so, did you enable the post by email function? If you did, immediately go to Jetpack > Jetpack in your dashboard on your site and click the “configure” button under post by email and disable post by email, or regenerate the email address. Some hackers out there just randomly try email addresses in hopes of getting into a system, and although the email addresses that the Jetpack plugin generate are random, they can still be guessed once in a while.
