  1. Please help - my photo captions do not show up on my blog photos. Also, I would like to get rid fo the a dashed line does show up under my photos. I have searched the help articles and the forum and can't find anything on this that helps. Thanks!

The blog I need help with is

  2. As far as your images go I do not know why the captions you are entering on your images are not displaying. :( Are you following these instructions?

Just a note re: the dotted line > There are articles that specifically deal with MistyLook issues > and and

  3. Well, the caption actually appears when you click on the photo but doesn't show up in the blog feed itself. I was also hoping to be able to have a caption for my header photo, but that doesn't seem to be happening.

I'm not using the Misty Look template, but I'll poke around in the one I'm using and see if maybe I can apply the same solution.

    Thanks for your help.

  4. Th blog linked to your username is wearing MistyLook. I assumed that was the one you meant. Please post an active link to the blog in question starting with http:// and we will give this another go.

    (1) Do note that header header images do not have captions. If you want text included in it then you will have to include text on the header image itself.

    (2) Also note that the media files are included in your blog post feed. Whether or not one feedreader or the next will display them is another matter. The same also applies to email clients. They vary when it comes to what they display.

  5. I'm so sorry - I recently changed the template - I am currently using Misty Look.

I'm new to this blogging thing - you've been a big help I didn't realize different readers showed different things on the screen.

    I have alot to learn!

I will dig into the html for Misty Look to resolve the dashed line.

    Thanks again!

    Not to worry.

I will dig into the html for Misty Look to resolve the dashed line.

Ummm ... no you won't unless you mean following the instructions I posted in the article here >
All blogs on this blogging platform have shared templates. Only Staff can access and edit templates and theme files because every edit they make affects all blog wearing the same theme.

  7. Ys - that's what I meant - I will follow the directions you posted earlier :)

  8. Okay I wasn't sure and didn't want to send you off to bang your head, so to speak. :)
