@crochetambassador, if the image sizes have been modified but they are still connected to the main settings, then the sizes may look different in the editor compared to the front end.
To fix this, you need to disconnect the image from the settings or update the Settings > Media sizes to control the images on the blog. The down side to disconnecting the images is that they may need to be adjusted manually if you ever change themes in the future, so I would recommend trying to adjust the Settings > Media sizes first.
If you would still like to disconnect the images from the media settings, there are two ways to do it. You can do it manually for images by removing the "size-VALUE" name from the HTML by clicking on the image in the visual editor and going to Edit Image > Advanced Settings and removing the "size-VALUE" name from the CSS Classes field.
