Photos going to top of post and out of order

  1. photosglitterglue

I've always been able to put text and then put the cursor where I want the picture to be and it loads right there. All of a sudden I can't put any text above any pictures. It pushes all text below it. Also, I now have to load pictures in reverse of the order that I want them to be in. Anytime I load a photo it goes to the top of the page regardless of where I put the cursor. I can't have any text between photos. Oh and the text is grey on some photo captions and black on others??? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! I'm at the end of my rope here!

The blog I need help with is

  2. This has been a recent issue. Please contact Staff >

  3. photosglitterglue

    Thanks!! I will contact them.

  4. I was able to manually cut & paste for photo placement yesterday, but not attempting clean word wrap either.

  5. photosglitterglue

I can't even do that anymore. I can't paste anything above the last photo I upload which goes above all the others and any text. Frustrating! I did contact support and I'm waiting to hear back from them.

  6. I was having the same problem using Internet Explorer, but everything was okay again after I switched to the Firefox browser.

  7. Yes, it's an IE problem. Any other browser will fix this. You could also try an offline blog editor like Windows Live Writer. They may be a way around it.

I switched to Firefox and I love it!! So much easier to load pictures in general and it works! Thanks so much for your suggestions! I didn't expect to get so much help so quickly. THANK YOU!!

  9. Do you think the problem will be fixed in Explorer? Should we use Firefox forever?

  10. I had this problem today for the first time.

Nothing has changed from my side so I suspect that it is a WordPress problem.

    Have you tried using Firefox?

  12. I've had this problem and I can re-size the image once it's in the post. I used to be able to click the little icon in the corner of the imagine to edit and now it won't do it. Anyone else experiencing this?

You haven't provided a link to the blog in question and that will be required if you want Staff to help you. Which browser and version of it are your using please? Is it IE? If so, have your tried using Firefox? Others have switched and doing so worked for them so that's why I am asking.

  14. It doesn't work in Chrome, but it's never worked in Chrome.

  15. Hello timethief

I havent tried Firefox - I havent had to as the image position has never been a problem before using IE8.

I just tried again and for some reason it now works! I suspect it is a WordPress issue as they tinker behind the scenes.

It's good to here this is now working for you again using IE8. Thanks for letting us know. :)
