Pics showing as thumbnail and "medial gallery" link is visible

I am attempting to do a simple Wordless Wednesday. My pic is only showing up as a thumbnail and in order to see the full pic you have to click the picture. While I am logged in and when you click the pic, the post and the pic look perfect. But if I log out or if you simply visit the website, initially there is only the thumbnail and beneath the pic there is a link to see “more galleries”

How do I get the pic and the post to show full size the way it does when you click the pic?
How do I get rid of that “more galleries” link?

You can control image sizes, auto-embeds, and video player display formats under Settings > Media. Instructions here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/media-settings/

To edit your post, go to Posts -> Posts in your dashboard menu.

Thanks but unfortunately this is not helping me. This is not the first time I have added a pic and have not had this prob simply using the default settings. I know how to change the settings/size of the pic and have done so multiple times when I added the pic. I have done it and redone it using different settings yet it still continues to show as a thumbnail when you go to the post.

I am not sure why you gave instructions on editing the post. I don’t need to edit my post. If you provided that info to address the “more galleries” link its not helpful because I did not put the link there. It is showing up automatically. It seems to be something from wordpress. I have no idea why its there.

Did you get a chance to go and view the site to see what’s happening? Perhaps I am not explaining things well but I have done Wordless Wednesdays before without this problem.

Sorry for any confusion. Any other suggestions??

Is it possible that you have accidentally marked that post as a “Gallery” in the Post Format module in your Editor? If so, change it to “Standard”.

It seems like your entire “Wordless Wednesday” category is displaying a Gallery post format, which seems odd, and unfortunately nothing we forum volunteers can really help with.

Please contact Support directly with this.
