Pilcrow sidebar showing at bottom?
Also, just for the heck of it I switched to Coraline and the widgets were still at the bottom! Weird! I switched back to Pilcrow and they are still in the same spot. I’m confused…
I switched to Twenty Ten and I like this theme better than Pilcrow. BUT, same problem!!!
Apparently you have this fixed? I don’t see a problem in Firefox or Safari.
Generally this is caused by HTML errors in a post. Go to settings > writing and select “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and then click “save changes.” This should keep it from happening in the future.
If it does happen again, starting with your latest post, open it in the editor, switch from the visual tab to the HTML tab (waiting for the page to refresh) and then switch back to the visual tag (again waiting for it to refresh), and then click “update post.” Check your blog and if it is back to normal, you are golden. If not, open the next post and do the same thing till it goes back to normal.
If this does not clear up the issue, then it might be a problem with some code you have put into a text widget.
In addition to what TSP has said do be aware that if you are copying and pasting text from elsehwre or composing your posts in microsoft WORD then this problem will recur unless you use icons 5 or 6 in Row 2 of the Visual text editor to strip out all extraneous code and formatting whne you are creating a post.
