Please cancel domain mapping

I had a domain that I registered with another registrar ( and paid the US$13.00 domain mapping to point that site to my free blog until I decided what I was doing hosting wise. I finally paid for hosting and cancelled the domain mapping using the options available as I did not think that transferring the domain name would make sense seeing that it was not registered on I also changed the name servers to the one recommended by my host. However, I am getting and error message that (note…not does not exist and if I would like to create it. I would not like to create it, but would instead like for this annoying message to go away so that I can see my site as it is being edited from my hosting provider.

I also cleared my entire cache and browser history from all my browsers to see if that would help it did not. I will say there are times when the correct site has shown up, but it keeps eventually after refreshing a few times (to view the updates) reverting back to your wordpress error message. I do not understand this as I did not purchase the .com from, I have had it for well over a year before even mapping it to your site. Please cancel the domain name mapping once and for all or tell me what else I can do to rid myself of my .com pointing to my wordpress blog. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Your domain,, is indeed correctly set up and no longer pointing to a site. When I visit that domain, I see your site just fine!

When are you getting the error message about If you’re visiting, you shouldn’t need to type in, in any regard.

    Thank you for the clarification!

Hi there I cancelled the domain mapping for blackstairsecotrails over 24hours ago but they domain is still pointing towards wordpress name servers – how do I change this?

    Hi there,

You will need to log into your domain registrar and update your nameservers:

I see that your domain isn’t registered through, so I won’t be able to do this for you, but let me know if you have any additional questions that I can help with!
