I’m not sure if this is the right place to inquire about this, but currently I’m using e107 as my primary blogging platform. My initial question is about the fact if I can Import my posts from that to wordpress [installed on my own server, not wordpress.com]. The reason I don’t want to start over is because the thing has over a thousand articles, and I want to keep it all together. http://www.e107.org is the site for that. Any help would be wonderful. Thanks.

Here at wordpress.com, we use different software and will not be able to answer that for you with any certainty. Post your question over at http://wordpress.org/support since that is where the software you will be using will come from and they will be more familiar with it.

In general, you can easily import xml and from any of these platforms easily: http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/11/09/import-from-blogger-typepad-mt-lj/

Over at wordpress.org, they may have more experience with other types of blogging platforms and how to import them.

oh thanks! yeah i found it at wordpress.org http://codex.wordpress.org/Importing_Content#e107_CMS . thanks again!

Glad to hear that gadgetfix. Happy blogging.
