Positioning footer relative to header in Ambiru

    I am a recent entrant to CSS customisation and CSS customisation in WordPress.

    I am using Ambiru as a base theme and have customised it to quite an extent, but I am facing trouble with aligning the footer in line with the header and content sections of the template.

    The blog is at: http://briefs.peanuts.cc

    Any kind of help with this issue would be appreciated.

    The blog I need help with is briefs.peanuts.cc.

    Wow. That is pretty, nice work!

    Afraid I can’t help you though, but I’m sure someone else will be along to help you.

    In #footer, change “left” from 132px to 51px.

    Thanks Carocat :)

    Hi sacredpath,
    Thanks for the advice. I tried 51px, but the page goes into a horizontal scroll much beyond the top right corner – blog info. And the footer does not align itself to wrap.
    Do you think maybe there’s a way to link this to the wrap?

    Got the solution immediately after posting the comment.
    Within #footer, add:
    margin: 0 auto;

    Thanks again.

    I just looked in Firefox, and it appears you have gotten this fixed. When I made the change I suggested using Firebug it worked fine and there was no horizontal scroll bar issues that came up.

    The code you now have looks cleaner than what you had in the footer section though. Good work!
