post dated two days earlier than it was published
My current post, “And, Speaking of ‘Shameless’ ” :
was posted yesterday, 3/25, around 2 pm (or so) but on my blog the date under the headline is 3/23, which was when I last posted:
Please let me know how I can fix the date (I tried edit unsuccessfully
)–or if WordPress has to do it, thanks in advance.
The blog I need help with is robinholland.wordpress.com.
If you blog is new then perhaps you forgot to change the timzone setting to reflect your own rather than UTC time. > Settings > General
You can the datestamp on posts. I know you are not scheduling a post but pictures are wirth a thoudand words, so see here for images (see the second one) that indicate where to do that > http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/schedule-a-post/
Thanks so much for addressing my question.
But my blog isn’t new–I started it 12/10 and I’ve never had this problem before.
I looked at the links and there’s definitely a possibility that I might be dense, but I don’t think they’re relevant.
I published my latest post yesterday, Sunday, 3/25 around 2:00 pm ET, but when the post was published the date under the headline was Friday’s, which was 3/23.
Any help changing correcting the date is greatly appreciated
Have you tried editing the post and changing the date in the publish module and then clicking “update”? http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/
Thank you so much for all your help–that worked perfectly.
Hooray! I love happy endings. Best wishes with your blog.
