Post Formating changed after press “publish”

  • Post Formating changed after press “publish”

i found that pressing return key for start a new line or line spacings.
    after press “publish”,
the start a new line or line spacing are gone that
it is not what it looks like in the draftng window before

Besides, bold and Italic a block of text also has problem too.
In the draft window, i can see the correct block of text are selected
and changed the font style. But after press publish,
the font styles changed applied to other unselected block of text as well

How to solve these problem ?

IS there a button or selection bar in the drafting window
that i can change the font type and font sizes ?

    Thanks for help

  • Three approaches

    (1) If you go to your profile page and scroll down you will find that you can turn the text rich editor off. That may help you with your problem. The coding you are supplying is being stripped out.

    (2) If you like doing the html coding and don’t want to turn off the text rich editor then check in the FAQs blog you will find a list of the html you can use.

    (3) You can also choose to download a free copy of the Blogdesk program from the net and use it to create and upload your posts from.

(N.B. There are other programs you can use too but I don’t use them so I can’t recommend them. I have the text rich editor turned off and I use Blogdesk.)

  • >> other programs

where would i be able to get more of such options ?

maybe getting to know the name of such programs at least ?

  • The name of the program I use BlogDesk was included above and this is something about it. No need to use those annoying HTML Tags in the WYSIWYG editor. Images can be directly inserted and are automatically uploaded. Even publishing simultaneously to multiple blogs is a matter of a click. Here is the link to it http://www.blogdesk.org/en/info.htm.

  • It’s a pity that BlogDesk only runs on Windows. A MacOS version would have make me very happy …

  • Have a look at W Bloggar

    http://www.wbloggar.com

There might be a Mac version.

Alternatively, can you get Firefox for Macs? If so there’s a plugin called Performancing that you might be able to use.
