Post in seperate pages
I have a question. I have a student blog ecause i am a Graphic design student. Most of my post so far have been just because i wanted to post. but now i need to have some posts specifically for classes. right now all of my post just show up on the home page in the order that i write them (newest one on top) and i want to know if there is a way that i can add a new page and put post on that page specifically on my homework. I tried to simply add another page but still my post were coming up on the HOME page…..Help Please!!!
The blog I need help with is jusgraphics.wordpress.com.
Blogs are designed to place the most recent post on top (reverse chronological order) and that order cannot be reversed.
We organize posts by assigning categories to them. So if you create a Category like “Classes” (Assignments, Homework or Projects) and assign it to all of the posts specifically for classes, and then place the categories widget in your sidebar, when you click that category link you will access all of the posts you assigned it to.
There is only ONE page in a blog that automatically updates with every post we publish and it’s the front page of the blog, unless we choose to change that to another static page. When we publish a post it will automatically appear in the Archives and also on the Category pages of the categories that we assigned to that post.
Although we cannot post to more than one page in a blog we can create the appearance that we have done that by setting up a custom menu and displaying our category in tabs along the horizontal navigation menu. . That feature is available for some themes but not for all themes. It is avalible for Twenty Ten which you are using.
