Posting and Publication Timing

I cannot find a solution to an ongoing annoyance with the publication of a post. Months ago I noticed that on occasion when I publicize a post, it gave the posting date 24 hours earlier than reality. For example, if I post today 18 August, the post will have that it was posted 17 August. I made sure that my time zone settings are correct. The it mysteriously corrects itself. But it happened again this week. It reduces my traffic, because I do not get the advantage of tags and categories for that day through WP. I do not understand why this happens and hope that someone can explain why this happens. I live on the East Coast of the USA, and we are in Daylight Savings Time. I do change the posting times in the editing part. But that has no relationship to the loss of potential viewers. Thanks, hope someone has a rationale and solution.

I’m sorry for the inconvenience. I’ll be happy to take a closer look.

Do you see the same issue when publishing a post immediately, where the post date is off by -1 day?

Can you try switching your time zone to a different one, then back to your east coast time zone?

Are you still seeing this issue with scheduled posts?

If so, can you reply with the exact steps you’re taking so I can try to replicate it from my end?

Let me know if you have any other questions.
