Posts not being read

  1. I cannot see my post in the Category I put. Why? I just wanted to check if my posts are being read after posting in the Categories or tags. When I go into Family, I do not see my post from last might...CUPCAKES, EGGS...ALL THAT JAZZ. Why is this? Does it take awhile to come up. Thank you for your time.

The blog I need help with is

    Hi there,
Will you please check out the reasons for non-appearance here?
As it does not seem any of those apply to your blog I tagged this for Staff to look into. Please subscribe to the thread it so you are notified when they respond.

  3. Thank you. 😊

  4. Hi there!

It looks like what's happened is that you've created a couple of categories which are similar and you put your newest post in a different "family" category then the one you thought.

    If you go here:

And look at your map of categories, you can see that you've got a category called "Family, comfort, Joy, peace" and then one nested underneath that just called "family". You created that Cupcakes post in the secondary "family" category.

You may want to re-arrange your categories! You can read about some suggestions for best practices in this article:

  5. Yes I did notice that but thought it'd post anywAy. Guess not. Can I delete it? Ill read the suggestions u made. Thanks.

  6. Oh, it still posted and is on your site, it's just got a category which is different from what you had originally intended.

You can change the category by logging in to your account and clicking on Posts. You can then click on the post and editing it. On the right hand side of the screen you can select which category the post belongs to. Then push the Update button and it will be reposted to your site!

  7. But how about on the "category"? I don't see it there. Does it take awhile to appear?

  8. Hi there,

You only posted that post under "family" and "Easter" categories. So you can see the post by going here:
    and here:

If you are talking about the tag cloud widget on the left hand side of your site, that is generated by the tags which are attached to your posts, not the categories. You can add tags by editing your post and adding them on the right hand side of the screen.

    Did that answer your question?

  9. I can see it posts on my page, however, what about on "Family" or "Easter"? When I go look at the stories under "Family", I don't see it. I haven't gone in today. I'm sorry for all this! :-D I want to make sure I'm doing it right. Thanks again.

  10. I guess I wonder if my stories are getting read. When I click into FAMILY category on the topics, I haven't seen my cupcake article.

  11. Hi there,

I noticed that you reposted your article with a different category set. Is that one showing up for you now?

  12. I'm trying to find it on my ipad but can't see it. I'll try my home computer.

  13. Well, it's been a few'll take me forever to find it. I'll try and post another and see if it gets on the "category" I put on it. Thanks so much for your help, amighty!

  14. I just posted a new one. I put the "category" of Writers. Now will my post show up when I go to the WRITERS topic? I'm curious...

  15. thistimethisspace

Check it out for yourself >!/read/topic/writers/
It ought to be listed in order of the date stamp.
