You can disable autorenew on your dashboard UPgrades page. That is also where you click to get a refund on newly repurchased upgrades.

Hey thanx a lot raincoaster. Unfortunately there is no option to get a refund or to disable.

    Domain renewals are non-refundable.
Most other upgrades can be fully refunded within 30 days of purchase.

You can use the “Cancel” button on My Upgrades if available or Contact support if you want to request a refund.

“My Upgrades” is a link, which takes me straight back to the site im already on

“Contact support” is alink which brings me to this forum

Hover over the area and make sure you’re logged in as the user who was billed for the upgrade. If you’re logged in as any other user, you can’t cancel it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades

I will flag this for staff attention as well. If the person who set up the upgrades has left the blog, they will need to intervene.

Maybe a support forum isn’t that bad after all ;) i’ll take back my words…

There IS a way to contact staff via email. If I recall correctly, the wait time on email support requests is around seven weeks.

No idea where you get that number from. Our e-mail replies are generally as fast as forum threads tagged as modlook.

Anyway, feel free to contact us if you have any other questions :)
