I have a question. I was playing around with the settings and wondering whether its possible to disable right click for readers coming on to my sight? As more readers are visiting my site, I am finding my original pictures showing up elsewhere on the internet. I would like to keep my content and pictures mine, so I was wondering how to do so. I understand the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, and that the former does not host the disable right click plug-in
Please let me know if there is any way I can do so, or whether there are other ways to prevent content theft! Thank you very much!
There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we cannot install any plugins. Please be aware that disabling right-click is a useless exercise that creates a false sense of security. Anyone can defeat it in seconds flat and for obvious reasons I won’t describe how to do that here. You are far better served by watermarking your images Here’s a technique for you to make it just a bit harder for someone to get your images. See also > Prevent Content Theft
