One of my blogs was public for over a month, I changed it to private (the entire blog), but withing google search I still can see links with few lines from the posts, although they can’t be opened without login and password. Is there a way to get rid of these links being even shown on google? Should I ask Google people? :-)
You will have to wait until Google clears things out and rechecks your blog to find the “do not index” command. It may take up to several months, and in the case of some search engines, the links may be there virtually forever. Yahoo never seems to delete anything from their caches.
There is a procedure where you can request Google remove links from their databases, but I am not familiar with it.
