Problem with redirection to another domain

    Hi all,

    I’m having trouble with the redirection to another domain.
    I have a domain name http://www.mjbphotography.nl but I can’t redirect my wordpress.com site to it.

    “Mijndomein.nl” did try to fix it (change the nameservers etc) but nothing seems to help.
    Apparently the get the message that the domain name has been “refused” from the WordPress name server.

    I hope you can help me with this, because they can’t!

    Hi there,

    You’re trying to point mjbphotography.nl to mjbphotoblog.wordpress.com, correct?

    Your domain registrar Mijndomein.nl only needs to change the name servers (not just NS record) and point them to:

    ns1.wordpress.com
    ns2.wordpress.com
    ns3.wordpress.com

    Are they saying they can’t do it? It doesn’t require any permission from WordPress.com’s end, they should be able to update the record. Whois shows the name servers are set, but they’re probably not propagated.

    Another thing — have you purchased the $13 domain mapping upgrade here at WordPress.com? Open this link and follow the instructions at “1. Add domain mapping”.

    Once both the things are done, you will be able to access your blog via that domain name.
