    Hi everyone!
I would like to use the Spotify embed player in one of my article after reading this page
Here is the article in question
You can see at the end that there is the link – not hyperlinked – but it hasn’t turned into an embed player. I also tried with shortcodes such as [spotify]URL[/spotify] or [spotify URL]

What should I do? Is this Spotify tool still working with WordPress.com?

    Thank you in advance
    Have a great day

The blog I need help with is jemesouviendraitoujours.wordpress.com.

I don’t see any trace of Spotify there. Would you please try adding it again.

As for the YouTube video that isn’t working, try this instead (basically using http instead of https):

The post you linked to above seems to be gone now.

What is the URL for the post with the Spotify code in it?

    Here: https://jemesouviendraitoujours.wordpress.com/2012/08/10/de-latterissage/

Apparently they changed the date (2012 08 10 instead of 2012 08 17) which is weird because it was published on the 17th.
    Anyway, here it is.

    Thank you for your patience!

You had centered it, which wraps the URL in a centered paragraph tag, thus breaking the embed. Spotify always centers itself, so you don’t have to do that.

I removed that, and it seems to be fine now.

I tried this but now the link desapeared: you don’t see it when you read the article online even if it’s still written when I’m in the editing tool… Maybe I have to wait a little?

I see the embedded player: http://cl.ly/image/3E401X0T0244

In the post, you haven’t added a link.

Ok so if you see it it’s alright. It’s just that apparently I can’t see it so I thought it wasn’t working. I’ll try with another browser.
    Thank you!

I’d like to share a track or two on the right post and thought Spotify the way to go. I opened an account with Spotify and experimented with a link in a draft post. Link seems okay but the reader (and hopeful listener) looks as if they have to log in (or open a/c) with Spotify. Am I correct? If so I think that will annoy plenty of readers and means that I can really only share with Spotify members. Kind of self defeating in a way. Hoping this can be answered for me. Thanks in advance.
