Problem with Standard theme
I added the standard theme. For theme options it only gives layout and social options. I’ve made pages but they don’t appear at the top of my blog. There is nowhere on my dashboard to do that. My buddy bought the same theme and his dashborad had the word Standard on the left hand side, where if you hovered over it it gave you tons of options. My doesn’t have that. If I did I could do all the things on my blog I want to. I see the problem but don’t know why that isn’t showing up on my dashboard. Please help!
The blog I need help with is jaredandallisoncook.com.
All versions of themes we have here at WordPress.com that are also sold by the same names for WordPress.org installs have been adapted to run on our software. That means they don’t always have the same features that the WordPress.org versions have.
You paid for direct access to the themes designer and that’s offered only in the premium themes support forum. Read-access to the premium themes forum is now open to all users so you can search to see if your question has been previously asked and answered there. The premium theme forums are at http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/ with separate sections for each theme. http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/standard
If you are not successful when searching there is a link for the specific Premium Theme support forum for your theme under Appearance -> Themes in your blog’s Dashboard, but do note that the premium theme must be active and you must be signed in as the user who purchased it in order to see it and post to it.
