Problems with SEARCH widgets and Poll module

  1. I bought the Opti template and the minute I converted over to it, two things happened:
    1. The SEARCH Widget - text typed into it is invisible. Also, the search widget on the header is no longer visible after I installed my own header.
    2. My polls disappeared. Each time I try to install them back, only a link to polldaddy appears.

  2. Read-access to the premium themes forum is now open to all users so you can search to see if your questions have been previously asked and answered there. The premium theme forums are at with separate sections for each theme.

    If you are not successful when searching there is a link for the specific Premium Theme support forum for your theme under Appearance -> Themes in your blog’s Dashboard, but do note that the premium theme must be active and you must be signed in as the user who purchased it in order to see it and post to it.

  3. This response does not answer any of my issues. I'm TERRIBLY disappointed with the Opti theme. I might have to demand a refund and pick another theme if these issues cannot be resolved:
    1. The SEARCH widget - text typed into the search space ISN'T VISIBLE; maybe the text color is white? How do I fix this?
    2. POLLS - I have two polls that were online before I activated the Opti theme. Right after activating the Opti theme, the polls went offline. I tried everything to restore them but couldn't.

  4. I'm so sorry you are disappointed. When you purchase a premium theme part of the purchase includes support from the theme designer in the Premium Themes Support forum.

    There is a link for the specific Premium Theme support forum for your theme under Appearance -> Themes in your blog’s Dashboard
    I suggest you locate it and click it so you can post there.

  8. Yes, timethief, the Opti template developers are fixing things. They're fixed the SEARCH widget issue with an update and are working on the Poll widget problem.
